So last week, we walked away the big winner at Ad:tech Startup Spotlight Series in the GE Data & Analytics Category in New York. The award was part of the Ad:Tech New York digital marketing event. We were one of four companies chosen from hundreds of applicants to pitch as a finalist in the competition’s Data & Analytics category. Being finalists, we were also given a pod-style booth and 3 passes so we could showcase our product at the expo floor. To say it was an honour to be there and be chosen as the winning startup would be an understatement.
The ad:tech Startup Spotlight Series is a competition that highlights the most enterprising new companies in digital – and this year they partnered with GE to find the next innovator in data & analytics. The GE Data & Analytics Challenge is aimed at uncovering the newest lead generation and analysis platforms for B2B marketers. They described it as a hunt for startups that can evaluate lead generation from email, social and mobile, to TV and print – to drive best value from all digital media sources. This was an excellent opportunity for up and coming startups to showcase their product to not only GE, but to over five thousand people who are attending ad:tech looking for new sales channels, and we made innumerous excellent connections at the trade show!
We were tasked with pitching onstage at Ad:Tech and, after hours of prep and a tons of coffee we were able to take picked winners for the Data and Analytics category judged by a panel of 3 GE executives. As part of the prize, we will have the chance to pitch in-house to General Electric executives in the near future.
Simply put, we’re honoured. The last few months have been crazy, and we’ve made some great strides on all sides of the business. We’ve had tons of interested Beta testers and are looking forward to helping you find leads from social media very soon.
